Description: 
Our client, a growing residential real estate firm specializing in the management of cooperative, condominium and luxury residences in New York City is currently seeking a temporary to permanent Payroll Specialist/Accounts Payable Assistant to work in their Payroll Department.
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for analyses, preparation of budgets and other
bookkeeping functions to ensure smooth functioning of Finance department operations.

Job Description:
• Processing weekly, biweekly, and monthly timesheets manually into ADP Run for 1000+
employees in residential buildings
• Sets up new contractors in the accounting system. Receives personnel reports with W-4 and
direct deposit information, enters job title, department, and payroll data into the accounting
system, and checks entries for accuracy
• Processes ACH {direct deposit) account information for 401k Reports and Union Dues
• Ensures that payments are accurate and timely. Enters correct data for hours worked, including
overtime, shift differential, and other payment types.
• Enters relevant employee data and changes into ADP, such as direct deposit, tax jurisdiction due
to address change, W4, etc. which cannot be imported

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Proficient in all Microsoft office programs (especially Excel)
• 1-2 Years of experience
• Must be able to work independently/take initiative
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Must be able to prioritize workload
• Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
• Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Fast Learner
Salary: $27.00 per hour, $55,000.00 annually
